Kampus Merdeka

Kampus Merdeka is a strategic initiative driven by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research and Technology, designed to transform Indonesia's higher education system and elevate its graduates' competitiveness. Kampus Merdeka introduces two powerful approaches: centrally-administered programs, and independently-run programs by universities.

Leveraging cutting-edge technology, Kampus Merdeka provides an accessible and intuitive platform for all program stakeholders, allowing for enhanced collaboration and streamlined execution. This dynamic initiative is set to revolutionize Indonesia's higher education space, providing invaluable resources and opportunities for future business leaders and professionals.

The Kampus Merdeka platform provides students with the opportunity to participate in high quality funded out–of-campus learning experiences in order to help prepare them for life after campus. Participants experience intensive hands-on learning, along with full 20 SKS credit conversion from their respective campuses. The platform supports the end-to-end program journey, from application, selection, execution, disbursement, and reporting, for both MSIB & Kampus Mengajar.

Features

  • Students can browse and apply into internship positions, courses (independent study), or teaching apprenticeship programs.

  • Students participate in the program (submitting reports, uploading/downloading essential documents, receiving announcements) within the MBKM platform.

  • Lecturers and University Coordinators have the responsibility to assist in managing the program's operation
    and are provided with capabilities within the platform to conduct assessments and reporting.
