Latest Innovation in School Budget Management through ARKAS 4
Transparency and efficiency in the planning and reporting of the utilization of Operational Assistance for Educational Units (Bantuan Operasional Satuan Pendidikan or BOSP) funds serve as benchmarks for educational institutions in allocating BOSP funds in line with the objectives of the learning activities. In light of the aforementioned issues, the School Activity and Budget Planning Application (ARKAS) 4 has now been officially launched nationwide on Monday, August 7, 2023. Through this launch, ARKAS 4 presents solutions by offering several feature enhancements from its previous version to optimize and integrate the planning as well as budget management processes within educational institutions across Indonesia under a single official platform.
Enhancement Aspects of ARKAS 4 in 3 Key Advantages:
1. PRACTICAL
The enhancements in ARKAS 4 have made budget management even more practical, as it now features an automatic residual budget value retrieval feature and seamless integration with the SIPLah application. Additionally, there have been refinements to the ARKAS 4 interface, making it more intuitive, thus facilitating users throughout the entire ARKAS input process.
2. CONVENIENT
The most eagerly awaited feature by users has been introduced in ARKAS 4, namely, the ability to access tax calculations more easily, as it is now automated, eliminating any concerns about calculating tax totals incorrectly. Furthermore, users can also access the Shift and Change Feature, which can automatically retrieve remaining funds, making the budgeting process more convenient.
3. SECURE
ARKAS 4 also prioritizes the security aspect. Error notifications during input and guidelines have been implemented to ensure that budget management with ARKAS 4 is now more secure. All of these changes have been adapted in accordance with the provisions of Juknis BOSP 2023 and Permendagri No. 3 of 2023 regarding the Management of BOSP Funds in Local Government.
